The 7th Annual Run For The Paws 5k on Sunday, May 31st, is an annual event that encourages healthy activity within our community while raising financial support for the Clark County Animal Shelter. Through revenue generated from entry ticket sales for over 100 runners annually and generous sponsors throughout the Clark County Community, the Run For The Paws 5k has helped the Clark County Animal Shelter purchase much-needed supplies including food, shelving, cleaning materials, and more. By participating in this event, you are participating in making Clark County a stronger and healthier community.

COVID-19 UPDATES:

The 2020 Event, currently scheduled for May 31st, will not be an in-person 5K race at Lykins Park, as anticipated. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on mass gatherings, we have converted the 2020 Race into a VIRTUAL EVENT for our community. 

What does that mean?

REGISTER - The Clark County Animal Shelter STILL NEEDS OUR SUPPORT! We encourage you to register for 2020 Run for the Paws and on May 31st, walk or run your 3.1 with your favorite furry friend, family member, or alone! We will have a group page on which you can post pictures of your success. ALL PROCEEDS will be given to the Shelter to support their efforts to maintain the health and wellness of ALL of our community and our furry friends in need!

All runners and walkers will receive a 2020 Commemorative Race T-Shirt!!

REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH MAY 31st - $25 per person - Includes t-shirt.
